Expressing relief, Willea wrote, “We’re relieved to share that we’ve obtained our beloved daughter, sister, and cousin Kandace Schipper’s location.” She further expressed gratitude for the support received from the community and added, “We’re grateful for every email, call, and share and are now focused on bringing her home safely.”
Schipper, 29, had been exploring Tokyo, Japan since May 8 and had maintained regular communication with her family. However, on June 4, the messages abruptly ceased, causing concern. The last known location for Schipper was reported to be in the Shibuya City area of Tokyo on June 5, as stated by Willea.
