Popular jewelry maker Alex and Ani has announced the closure of multiple stores, as well as its corporate headquarters located in Rhode Island. The company’s decision comes as part of its strategic restructuring efforts.
Effective June 25, a total of 20 retail stores operated by Alex and Ani will be closed, as confirmed by a company spokesperson in a statement provided to NBC 10. Furthermore, the closure of the corporate headquarters in East Greenwich was implemented on Tuesday, marking a significant shift for the company.
While this closure signifies a transition for Alex and Ani, it’s important to note that the company remains committed to its customers. Despite the closures, seven stores will continue operations, ensuring that patrons can still access their favorite jewelry pieces. The stores that will remain open include:
- Disney Springs
- C-Gates
- D-Gats
- National Harbor
- Partridge Creek
- Plaza Del Caribe
- Plaza Las Americas
Alex and Ani made a significant move in 2019 when they relocated their corporate headquarters from Cranston to East Greenwich. This relocation was intended to facilitate the company’s growth and streamline operations. However, the recent decision to close their Rhode Island headquarters demonstrates a new phase for Alex and Ani.
