In an effort to solidify support ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Donald Trump has boldly stated that he is “not afraid” despite the prospect of facing a third potential criminal indictment.
On Tuesday, the former president disclosed on his Truth Social platform that he had received a letter notifying him of being a target in the Department of Justice’s investigation concerning efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. This indication suggests that US prosecutors may soon file charges against him.
During an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Donald Trump openly addressed the possibility of the incoming indictment, admitting that it does bother him. However, he asserted that it would not deter his political aspirations.

“They want to try to demean and diminish and frighten people. But they don’t frighten us because we’re going to make America great again. That’s all there is,” he confidently stated.
While his determination remains unwavering, it is important to note that potential new federal charges, coupled with existing state and federal counts in New York and Florida, as well as an ongoing election-interference investigation in Georgia, could compound Mr. Trump’s legal predicaments as he seeks the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
