Reports reveal that acclaimed singer and songwriter Tori Kelly, a Grammy winner, is currently in the ICU undergoing treatment for blood clots. The distressing situation unfolded after Kelly, aged 30, collapsed during a dinner in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the incident is deemed “really serious,” prompting her friends to immediately rush her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center rather than waiting for an ambulance. Subsequent medical examination at the hospital revealed the presence of clots in her legs and lungs.
The Southern California native initially gained fame through her impressive singing on YouTube and participation in TV competitions like Star Search, America’s Most Talented Kid, and American Idol.
In 2019, Kelly achieved remarkable success at the Grammys, triumphantly claiming awards for Best Gospel Album (Hiding Place) and Best Gospel Performance/Song (“Never Alone,” in collaboration with Kirk Franklin). Additionally, she showcased her vocal talent by voicing the character Meena in the Sing animated film series and competed on the fourth season of The Masked Singer as the Seahorse.

So yeah, I guess that’s a good thing that my fans know me. I can’t hide. So I’ll take that as a good thing.”
