Ashanti and Nelly, the former flames who shared a romantic history in the 2000s, have reignited romance rumors with a heartfelt duet on social media.
In an Instagram Story shared by the rapper, the two singers leaned in close while serenading to Usher’s “Nice & Slow.”
With smiles on their faces, they harmonized, “See I’ve been waiting for this for so long, I just want to take it nice and slow.”
This isn’t the first time Ashanti and Nelly have sparked speculations about their relationship. In December 2022, they heated things up with a performance of their 2008 collaboration, “Body on Me.”

While Ashanti chose not to directly address the possibility of rekindling their romance, actions spoke louder when they were seen holding hands after a boxing match in Las Vegas and partying together in a New York City nightclub.
