Connie Britton, known for her role in "White Lotus," expressed support for Maui amid deadly wildfires in an Instagram post.

The wildfires on Maui have led to over 55 reported deaths and widespread devastation.

The fires were fueled by Hurricane Dora's powerful winds and existing dry conditions on the island.

President Biden declared the situation a "major disaster," and only 80% of the wildfire in Lahaina was contained.

None of the four major fires that started on Tuesday have been fully contained as of now.

The production took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, with strict safety protocols to keep the cast and crew safe.

The death toll from the wildfires was reported at 55, with expectations that the number would rise further.
