Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, in just two years in the House, has expressed her desire to serve as Donald Trump’s running mate in his potential re-election campaign.
During an interview with the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Greene discussed Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s projected 2026 Senate run and didn’t dismiss the possibility of running against him in the GOP primary. She stated, “I haven’t decided whether I’ll do that or not. Am I going to be part of President Trump’s Cabinet if he wins? Is it possible I’ll be VP?”
While she could be on the Trump campaign’s list of potential candidates, this hasn’t been confirmed. Back in April, Trump suggested she run for the Senate, which she appreciated but hadn’t deeply considered.

Greene has staunchly supported Trump, even through his legal challenges. She equated his situation with historical figures like Nelson Mandela and Jesus, claiming they were arrested unjustly by “corrupt governments.”
