The annual high school basketball tournament, formerly known as the GEICO Nationals, is undergoing a makeover. It will now be called the Chipotle High School Basketball Nationals and will be held in Brownsburg, Indiana, from April 4-6.
The games will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU, showcasing the nation’s top high school players. The official announcement came on Thursday, revealing a new sponsor and location after nearly two decades under GEICO’s name and being held in Fort Myers, Florida.
Similar to the 2024 NBA All-Star Game held in Indiana, this tournament is expected to feature future NBA and WNBA stars. Last year, the tournament witnessed record-breaking performances under GEICO sponsorship, with players like Elliot Cadeau (assists) and Kate Koval (points) leaving their mark.
