Chris Stapleton’s performance at the ACM Awards got a surprising twist when pop singer Dua Lipa joined him onstage.
Lipa, a first-time ACM attendee, opened Stapleton’s song “Think I’m In Love With You” before he joined her for a harmonious duet. Backstage, Lipa revealed she initiated the collaboration, being a big fan of Stapleton’s music.
This unexpected performance was just one of many genre-bending moments at the ceremony. Other pop stars like Post Malone, Avril Lavigne, and Gwen Stefani also made appearances.
