At 2023 Miss Universe show on Saturday in New Orleans, Louisiana, Miss Dominican Republic Andrea Martinez was a marvel in a silver attire. Martinez wore a breath-taking silver gown to be her final look at the event, featuring a sweetheart necklace, precise filigree all along waistline and bust, and a gentle glistening fringed over the dress’ slit. The Miss Universe finalist opted for a pair of sparkly silver sandals with bejewelled straps all over the toes and ankles to match the hue.

Q & A with Miss Dominican Republic

While questioned what is the most serious drawback that women in her nation today face, and what could be executed to resolve the problem, Martinez made an influential statement about education during the pageant’s Q&A share.

“I believe the major problem women in my home nation confront is accessing education,” Martinez mentioned. A large number of women and children in our region who are unable to attend school due to a lack of access, and I believe we should act now. We must ensure that children can be children, that they desire to play and learn. Not to be mothers or wives. It is now time to make a move…”

The Final Round

The host of the competition asked all finalists in the final round, “If you win Miss Universe, how would you work to demonstrate this as an empowering and progressive organization?” Martinez answered confidentially “I believe the Miss Universe Organization have been seeking for an ambassador, someone that could convey a message. I’ve been working to promote for women’s rights ever since I can remember. Each day has been my real day. I’m here to prove it does not matter where you emerge from, it is indeed your bravery and persistence which describe you. And I will demonstrate this by hardworking each day, exhibiting my leadership and willpower.”

While Martinez was one of several finalists for Miss Universe 2023, including Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel, Miss Puerto Rico Ashley Carino, and Miss Curacao Gabriela Dos Santos, Miss United States R’bonney Gabriel was ultimately crowned Miss Universe 2023.
