This follows Taylor Swift’s name-drop of Puth in the song “The Tortured Poets Department,” the title track of her recent record-breaking album. In the lyrics, Swift sings about declaring Puth should be a “bigger artist.”
This isn’t the first time Puth has publicly acknowledged Swift. A few years ago, he covered her song “Teardrops on My Guitar” during a concert, praising her songwriting talent.
