While attending the 2022 Gotham Awards in New York City on Monday, Gabrielle Union looked chic in black velvet dress with a Greek statue picture. The 50-year-old actress donned a long, sleeveless, black velvet dress with a high collar embellished with a representation of a statue resembling one from ancient Greece. As she arrived at the awards event at Cipriani Wall Street, Gabrielle wore her hair in a circular bun that was secured with a golden hairband. She enhanced her innate attractiveness with pink lipstick and smokey eye makeup. Director Elegance Bratton, 43, nominated her for an award in the category of Outstanding Supporting Performance for her role in the drama film The Inspection.

Gabrielle portrayed Inez French in the film starring Jeremy Pope, 30, as Ellis French, a homosexual Marine Corps recruit who is the target of a dangerous hazing by his training instructor and another recruit. Following its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, The Inspection was made available by A24 earlier this month.
Gabrielle attended the ceremony after appearing as a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
