Hurricane Chris Has Been Found Not Guilty for a Murder

Dooley Jr. Who is popular by his stage name Hurricane Chris has been found not guilty for a murder of a Louisiana man. The American rapper was arrested for the second degree murder of a man in Shreveport (2020). Chris admitted to shooting the man, but claimed it was in the self defense, with which the jury agreed.

Fatal Shooting in June 2020

Hurricane Chris was arrested in a case of shooting a man who was trying to steal his car in his hometown. In the early morning,  Police found 32 year old man whose name was Danzeria O. Farris suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his chest, hip, and stomach. Police transported Danzeria to a nearby hospital for treatment where he latter passed away.

Hurricane Chris in his exclusive statement with The Shade Room, stated,

 

“Tonight, I was found not  guilty of second degree murder and illegal possession of stolen things”

“I wanna thank God, my attorneys at the Washington and Wells Law Firm, and my family for standing with me as my life was on the line. They wanted to give me life if I was found guilty. Now I can hug my son and think about raising him to be a man”, he stated.

He continued speaking on his experience, he stated “This situation drained me and affected my health greatly. God I give you all the glory. I got my life back and words can’t explain how I feel. Thanks to everyone who wished me well”.

Hurricane ’s Career

Chris’s debut commercial single was “A BAY BAY” and his debut studio album, titled 51/50 Ratchet debuted at number 24 on the US Billiboard 200. 60,000 copies of his debut studio album were sold out in the first week.
