Singer Kelly Rowland found herself in a tense situation on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
While attending the premiere of “Marcello Mio,” Rowland, dressed in a stunning red gown, apparently got into a disagreement with a female security guard as she ascended the stairs. Videos show the security guard gesturing towards the stairs, and Rowland pointing back in a seemingly frustrated manner.
The cause of the argument remains unclear. However, a source claims the security staff were being “aggressive” towards Rowland. According to this source, Rowland was attempting to interact with fans and photographers when the guard intervened and told her to move on.

This incident comes on the heels of another public situation for Rowland. In February, she reportedly left an appearance on the “Today” show unhappy with the treatment she received. While some reports claim she was upset with the dressing room, others suggest she felt disrespected by co-host Savannah Guthrie’s aggressive questioning about Beyoncé.
Rowland has not commented on the situation at Cannes.
