Miley Cyrus’ alleged stalker, 52-year-old Alexander Kardalian, was arrested again on Thursday, June 6th, for violating a restraining order. This marks at least the third time Kardalian has shown up at Cyrus’ Los Angeles home since September 2023.
Kardalian was apprehended by Cyrus’ security after arriving at her residence around 8:30 pm with a teddy bear. Cyrus was not home at the time. Security recognized Kardalian from previous incidents and immediately detained him before contacting the police. He was subsequently arrested and booked for a misdemeanor violation of a court order.
This latest arrest comes after a series of concerning events. In September 2023, a temporary restraining order was issued against Kardalian after he showed up at Cyrus’ home just days after being released from prison. According to Cyrus, Kardalian had a history of unwanted contact dating back to 2018, which included letters with sexually suggestive remarks and requests for money. These communications allegedly escalated to Kardalian showing up at her home uninvited in the summer of 2022.
Cyrus claims Kardalian was detained in December 2022 and held in prison until his release in August 2023. She also alleges Kardalian has been using her home address for his health insurance and expresses fear for her safety and the safety of those close to her.
