Singer Paul Cattermole member of S Club 7 died at the age of 46. This happened soon after they declared a reunion tour to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the group. The S Club 7 were set to begin their tour at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
The singer and actor had said in a video that he would trade fame for one true love. The video has been resurfacing post-death of Paul. He was in Dorset at his home when he died. A day before he was seen smiling and walking through the countryside as per the report.
In a video from 2019 of Paul which has been resurfacing he in the sweetest way said that he would trade fame and success for love. He also added saying that recognition and money aren’t the routes to happiness but love is!
After the news, his bandmates tweeted on Friday that the passing of their brother was devastating news. They said, “There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.
We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.” “He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”
The media obtained the news from his family and the group and also published a statement that it was found yesterday that Paul died on 6th April 2023 at his home and was in Dorset. Police have further confirmed that the death hasn’t been caused due to any suspicious circumstances but, the cause is also not yet known.
Paul and his ex-girlfriend and bandmate Hannah Spearritt have been on good terms. The former couple was also going to perform together once again with the coming reunion of the band. They had met to resolve their issues from earlier before deciding to perform together.
Before the news, Paul was last seen in Dorset and was in good spirits enjoying a walk wearing sunglasses, a dark jacket, a T-shirt, and trousers. He was also looking forward to getting back on stage.
After Catermole left the group the name of the band was changed from Miami 7 to S Club 7. He also said that he had to leave as it was getting bad and he had to join his old band Skua.
