The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards was an incredible night filled with music, glamour, and well-deserved recognition. It took place at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, on October 5th. This year’s event was a star-studded affair with some of the biggest names in Latin music.
Peso Pluma, the Regional Mexican sensation, led the nominations with a stunning 21 nominations across 15 different categories. Close behind were Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera, both with an impressive 15 nominations each. Karol G stood out as the leading female artist with 13 nominations.
This awards night not only brought recognition but also featured amazing performances by some of the industry’s top artists. Ivy Queen, a pioneer of Reggaeton, received the prestigious Billboard Icon Award, while Los Ángeles Azules were honored with the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating their incredible four-decade-long career. Additionally, Karol G was presented with the Spirit of Hope Award for her positive impact on the music industry.
The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards were broadcast live on Telemundo, as well as simultaneously on the Spanish entertainment cable network Universo, Peacock, and the Telemundo app. And the winners are:
