Zendaya Hints at Possible Return to Music

While promoting her new film “Challengers,” Zendaya opened up about her music career on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

The actress and singer, known for her hit “Replay” and collaborations on “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack, revealed her love for music and her desire to create music for herself.

Although Zendaya hasn’t released a solo album since her 2013 debut, she expressed frustration with the music industry potentially hindering her enjoyment of music.

Previously, Zendaya teased an R&B-influenced second album with big names like Diane Warren and Babyface, but acting projects like “Spider-Man” and “Dune” took center stage.

Despite the hiatus, Zendaya left the door open for future music. The audience cheered when she mentioned putting out “a little something” if the timing is right.

This sentiment follows her recent social media post thanking fans for their support after performing “I’m Tired” with Labrinth in 2022.
