Jennifer Lopez also known as J. Lo shared her life updates in an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music. She candidly shares about her cute moments of love with Ben Affleck and their reunion after almost 2 decades. The American singer and actress is set to release the album This Is Me…. Now very soon.
In the interview, Jennifer talks about the album and says it has words that are from the message inscribed by Ben on her engagement ring and that people will know about it very soon. She keeps sharing a lot about how it has been a roller coaster ride since their breakup and talks about how it is now with them.
She was not able to write a song for years together after their breakup. She says, “ I wouldn’t even perform these records. It was so painful after we broke up.
“Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life, and I honestly felt like I was going to die.”

She continued, “So I didn’t make music in the way that I did in 2002 until now… It set me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most, would never happen in Hollywood ending.”
Before tying the knot over the summer, the Gigli stars rekindled their romance in 2021, after ending their engagement over two decades ago.
On Monday the 53-year-old singer spoke about the words on her engagement ring “Not. Going. Anywhere” saying that it is how Ben would sign his emails when they started talking.
The Marry Me actress also shared that her Oscar-winning husband had the word “sing” inscribed on the inside of her first engagement ring — from 2004 — which was a pink diamond.
In August, Lopez, and Affleck, 50, tied the knot during a romantic wedding ceremony in Georgia. Prior, the couple snuck away and said “I do” during an impromptu Las Vegas ceremony in July.
Soon after their wedding J. Lo announced the predecessor of album This Is Me…Then in 2022, This Is Me… Now which would be released in 2023. This album is also based on the couple’s life but this time focusing on the second romantic innings of their life.
“That album, This Is Me… Then, really captured a time where I fell in love with the love of my life. And I just, it’s all right there on the record,” the “I’m Real” singer said. “Every single song we wrote, me writing ‘Dear Ben,’ it was such a special moment in time to have captured.”
While all this happens, she also says that her husband has very well gone through the album and has approved it with his seal. He has read the lyrics and has been part of the whole process. “He is the biggest fan and it is really awesome”, she adds.

She has inspired a lot of people young and old who are so in love with the concept of love and are really trying their best to find the perfect partner and create a perfect love story with them. She says, unlike others, she always does better when she is happy and so the album reflects her happiness after reuniting with Ben.
