With her fans and allies, Julia Fox is open and honest. On Saturday night, via TikTok Julia Fox criticized anti aging products and talk about the challenges of aging for women in general and women in Hollywood in particular. In a series of films, the 32-year-old actress and fashionista discussed her personal struggles with aging and criticized the “anti-aging” product industry for preying on women.
The beauty industry has to stop selling skin care as “anti-aging,” says Julia Fox. The actress who revived extreme low-rise jeans is tired of people selling her the idea that staying youthful forever is desirable. In a recent TikTok video, she even threatened to sue the next company that promotes anything “anti-aging.”
“Just to let you guys know, aging is fully in — like fully,” she continued saying “And if I see another project that says ‘anti-aging’ on the label, I’m suing. I’m going to sue because I’m going to age regardless of if I put the fucking $500 serum on my face. And you all fucking know it, and we fucking know it, so let’s stop lying to ourselves. Getting older is hot.”
In a reaction video, she asserted, “Thirty is not elderly.” But when I was 27, I sobbed uncontrollably because I could no longer refer to my 20s as my mid-20s. I would then be in my late 20s. This illustrates how serious this garbage is for women. She also stated that for women in the entertainment sector, 30 is “considered ancient.” Fox then released a second video in which she said she raged at friends who wanted to join her in celebrating and spent the entire day in bed with her friend Harmony, who has now passed away.
“She’s not even going to have the privilege of getting older,” she reflected. “We deny ourselves these milestones for what?”
