Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner are getting a divorce, putting an end to their 18-year marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2004 and have three children together.
Prior to marrying Ms. Baumgartner, Mr. Costner was married to Carla Silva, with whom he had three children. They were together for 16 years before their divorce in 1994. In 1996, Mr. Costner had a son with Bridget Rooney before marrying Ms. Baumgartner in Colorado eight years later.

Mr Costner’s representative gave statement to Fox News – “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,”
The reasons for the divorce are currently unknown, and it’s unclear what the future holds for the couple. It’s always sad to hear news of a long-term marriage coming to an end, and we can only hope that both parties are able to move forward in a positive and healthy way.
