The latest update on Olivia Wilde’s custody case is that she has won the custody battle against Jason Sudeikis. Additionally, the judge has also rejected the request of Jason to move the case to New York.
New York is typically more generous with child support than California and so Jason had waged a war against Olivia for moving the case of a custody dispute to that New York court. This was simply rejected by the magistrate of New York Adele Alexis Harris who gave her decision on Thursday.

The docs were filed when the New York judge tossed the case back to California on Friday. The hearing has been canceled and Olivia’s lawyer also argued about the transfer docs saying that “While Jason can afford to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia cannot,” adding, “Jason should not be permitted to litigate Olivia into debt.” He suggested that it was a costly move for Olivia and that she cannot afford the transfer and cases newly on Friday.
Judging from the filings, the battle between them is still raging. Olivia’s lawyers wrote in their docs, “We were scheduled to start working with a family therapist in California in mid-January. I thought things were calming down and were going to move forward in a more amicable, respectful fashion.”
Further, the lawyer added saying that as he scheduled the parenting schedule in California Olivia’s husband was busy plotting to transfer the proceedings with New York Child support which is what she learned on January 10, 2023.
