Actress Anna Paquin revealed she’s been battling undisclosed health issues for two years, affecting her mobility and speech.
Paquin, known for her roles in “True Blood” and the “X-Men” franchise, walked the red carpet for her latest film, “A Bit of Light,” with the aid of a cane.
Despite the difficulties, reports suggest Paquin is expected to make a full recovery.
“It’s been challenging,” Paquin said, acknowledging her need for assistance and speech limitations.
While remaining positive about her health, Paquin expressed gratitude for her career and passion for independent filmmaking.
The actress won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress at the young age of 11 for her role in “The Piano.”
Paquin also cherishes her working relationship with her husband, Stephen Moyer, who directed “A Bit of Light.” The film marks their second collaboration, following 2018’s “The Parting Glass.”
