- Despite the feud between them after Selena’s last interview she said that she takes such things very seriously and so she will always be indebted to her best friend.
Selena Gomez talks about her Kidney Transplant in 2017 and how she is indebted to the actress Francia Raisa. She says she will never ever, ever be more in debt to anyone than her.
The actress and singer suffered from a serious health issue and expressed her gratitude to Francia Raisa who donated her kidney to Selena in 2017. The ‘Grown-ish’ star helped Selena combat the issues. Selena recently spoke about how she was helped by her best friend on Apple TV+ documentary series ‘Dear…’, Selena said: “My best friend. Her name is Francia. She said, ‘No, I am absolutely getting tested.’ And within three days, she went to get tested, and she was a match. And it was one of those moments where I felt watched over. I know I was so so so lucky (sic)”.
Further, she added saying that it doesn’t happen to a lot of people and acknowledged it by saying that she knows the outcome of such situations and how serious they are. She continued by saying that she will never ever be more in debt to anyone than to her and that Selena takes it very seriously.
“The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming”, she added.
Last year Selena spoke about her pal in an interview where she said that she doesn’t have famous and only listed friends who are Taylor Swift and this made people speculate that the “Only Murders in the Building” actress had fallen out of 34-year-old pal.
After this interview, the actress Francia commented on the Instagram post which read “Interesting” intending to Selena’s statement which she later deleted. And Selena in response apologized saying, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know.”
