Apple TV+ to Run Video Ads to Generate More Revenue During Soccer Leagues

A report from The Information given on Friday states that, Apple on of the Big Five’s has made up their mind to hire Lauren Fry, an advertising executive in Digital and Television Video to help build revenue for video-advertising venture. Hence it is believed that apple TV+ to run video Ads to generate more revenue during Soccer Leagues.

Previously, Fry has worked as an Ad Sales at Comcast and AT&T. She also has experience in an Ad tech firm, Simulmedia as a chief Revenue Officer.

Just like the other top broadcast Service providers like Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Prime Videos, Apple TV + has planned to strengthen their Ad business by introducing a Major League Soccer Season Pass Package where each and every soccer league will be streamed for a discounted fixed annual fee with Commercial breaks included in Live Events. They have also decided to elevate their bread and butter by running ads during Half-Time or Pre-shows for Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball matches.

According to the reports, for all the late night binge watchers in US like Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+ will get to see lots of ads. In case of countries outside U.S. would be getting a message of Please-Stand-By. Apple TV+ has promised a break-free shows like Ted Lasso and Shrinking.

As per the 2022 reports, from January Vice President of Apple Music and Beats, Oliver Schusser will now be managing Apple TV+. Apple TV+ will be focusing on more advertising and streaming this will be done by rearranging their Broadcasting Services. The Apple’s ad has made a business of more than $4 billion by showing ads on their mobile phones and plans its expansion in near future. For instance, they have added new ad slots in App Store and have planned to add more slots to their other apps. The company has also decided to share the responsibilities of Mr. Peter Stern Apple’s former VP of Services between the three current VP’s of Apple namely, Mr. Oliver Schusser (VP of Apple Music & Beats), Mr. Robert Kondrk (VP of Services Product and Design) & Adrian Perica (VP of Corporate Development). In 2023, the Global Video advertising has estimated a total profit of about $210 billion.

Apple is one of the humongous companies in the world, with a huge Market cap of $ 2.32 trillion. In spite of being the only main streamer without any ads support, after October 2019, for the first time Apple Tv+ has increased their prices to $6.99 monthly subscription for ad-free binge. There isn’t any doubt that Apple is making money from iPhones and now by adding ads in sports telecasts its streaming services will bring a boom in their revenue.
