The crucial computer code that keeps, the Elon Musk – led social media company, Twitter running and on which the social network runs were leaked. Twitter takes legal action after its source code leaked online by legal filling on Friday.
‘The New York Times‘ reported, the public exposure of the fundamental code came into light when the social media company has asked GitHub (an internet hosting service for software development) to take down the crucial computer code. After the request made from the social media company, Twitter – GitHub Immediately removed the content.
According to the legal document, Twitter has asked the federal court to force GitHub to identify the one who shored or posted the code without Twitter’s authorization. The social media company, Twitter has also asked the federal court to reveal the alleged people that downloaded the code.
The Bloomberg reported, that Twitter is searching for the identity of the person who was behind all this code leak. Twitter is searching for the name as well and telephone number and the other information related to the user of that account who leaked the code. According to the Twitter’s legal filling report, the name of the person who leaked the code has appeared to be “FreeSpeechEnthusiast” on GitHub, to poke fun at Musk.
Elon Musk bought the social media company, Twitter for $44 billion in the last October. And the leak of the fundamental computer code has created a great challenge in the life of a billionaire. As the company faces stark changes, Elon Musk informed his workers that the Twitter was worth about $20 billion now.
In a mail, on Friday, which he sent to his workers, Musk wrote – “Twitter is being reshaped rapidly” and he further added that ‘I believe one day the company could be worth $250 billion’.
