72% of Adults Experience 10 Sleepless Nights in a Month

Sleepless nights are a major factor affecting work and daily routine says the report conducted by OnePoll and Natrol.

Recent research has revealed that 40% of 2000 adults who are very happy in their lives are likely to get excellent sleep. It is thus suggested that getting more sleep may be a better option than having a few extra bucks!

The research so conducted was by Natrol and OnePoll. The reports suggest that 72% of adults experience 10 sleepless nights in a month. Out of this 72% feel that reason for their lack of presence in everyday lives is because of a lack of social life or burnout. The other 43% feel that they lack motivation or exercise leading to inattentiveness in day-to-day life. Further, almost 45% acknowledge stress to be the main reason for sleepless nights and thus lack of presence in the daytime.

The happiness is the key say a few and so to increase the same they believe that some factors like spending quality time with kids and getting promotion can help reduce stress and thus lead to quality sleep.

Some of the researchers explained the reasons for not having good sleep and found some solutions to the problem. Some of the respondents found it easier to spend more time with their kids and prepare a home-cooked meal or read a book before sleeping.

“Living in the present can be hard because it means we have to put our worries about the past and future aside. Without a Good Night’s Sleep, our concentration and productivity are impacted, causing us to worry and stress even more,”

Some of the other things that can help you sleep better at night are room temperature, keeping electronics away 1 hour before sleep, reading books and listening to podcasts or music sometimes. All these factors help you sleep better at night.
