Bonaire is Set to Host a Wellness Festival

Everyone has to ask themselves what have they contributed to their wellness all this while? If you are looking for vacation along with the wellness then be ready because this summer Bonaire is set to host a wellness festival.

It is really important that everyone prioritizes their wellness by practicing travel, enjoying moments in solitude, and showing gratitude for new destinations. One of the wishes we have this year on our wish list is to experience Yoga Practice with Bonaire.

From June 19th to June 25 this year the Dutch Caribbean Island will be hosting its first Yoga and Wellness Festival in summer. Bonaire which roughly translates to “good air” makes it very clear why should people visit optimal wellness this year.

It will be a week-long festival and Bindu Yoga & Healing Center shall be their partner There shall be two yoga retreats. One of the retreats shall be led by teachers focusing on gentle healing practices while the other retreat shall be held by Laruga Glaser a renowned yoga teacher and influencer.

The aim is that visitors can heal, relax and explore the island. This festival will help people rejuvenate and shall put Bonaire on the map as a wellness destination. 

“Hosting an Annual Yoga & Wellness Festival is a great method to promote the island as a premier destination for health and well-being,” shares Miles Mercera, CEO of Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB). “This creates new market opportunities for companies in the yoga, wellness, health, and well-being industry, as well as the health food and lifestyle industries that have a natural connection to this sector.”

Visitors can look forward to a Yoga Festival on the last day of wellness. They can also participate in various yoga and meditation workshops. They can enjoy activities like enjoying good food, music, and lifestyle market.

Bonaire

Bonaire is just perfect for yogis, nature lovers and travelers who want to be rejuvinated. This place has population of 23,000 and no street lights. Bonaire is an ideal destination to breathe deep and centre yourself as it is surrounded by untouched nature and eco-friendly environment.

The reason behind the Island being untouched is that the residents believe Bonaire belongs to generations to come making it intentionally untouched. It is the first Island to protect it’itsrrounding seas with marine park, which was created as part of Stitching Nationale Parken Bonaire (STINPA).
