This week, Solgaleo and Lunala, two Alolan Legendaries, will debut in Pokémon GO. But how is it possible considering Nihilego is scheduled to appear in Tier 5 raids? Instead of being made accessible through the standard Tier Five raid method of Legendary release, Solgaleo and Lunala will be made available through evolution. Beginning on Wednesday, the Astral Eclipse event will open up the two possible evolutionary routes for Cosmoem. Continue reading to see how the next Astral Eclipse will bring the current Season of Light to an epic conclusion.
What’s going on in Pokemon GO Event Astral Eclipse:
- Date and time: Local time on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022.
- Legendaries that evolve: how do they create new legendary Pokémon? This element, along with the Alola territory, was introduced to the franchise in the Sun & Moon video games. With the addition of Alola to Pokémon GO, the current Season of Light storyline is coming to a close and giving us the opportunity to develop our own Legendary Pokémon. Starting with this occurrence, Cosmoem can evolve into either Lunala (the Moone Pokémon) or Solgaleo (the Sunne Pokémon). There are 100 Cosmog Candies required.
- Additional missions will become available in the Season of Light Special Research. Alolan Sand shrew, Clefairy, Alolan Vulpix, Staryu, Hoothoot, Sunkern, Lunatone, Solrock, Munna, Cottonee, Petilil, and Yungoos are examples of wild spawns. Even though there isn’t a new Shiny release, Munna and Cottonee, who both had Shiny releases this year, will be available for us to seek.
Keep an eye out for information on a new Ultra Beast event that will also be coming to Pokémon GO.
