Aaron Charles Rodgers is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).

After backing up Brett Favre for the first three years of his NFL career, Rodgers became the Packers' starting quarterback in 2008.

Aaron played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, and was selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Since 2008, Rodgers has led the team to nine playoff appearances, four NFC Championship Games, and two Super Bowl appearances.

Aaron Rodgers has been named to the Pro Bowl nine times and has been named the NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) twice.

Rodgers has thrown for over 4,000 yards in a season nine times and has thrown for over 45 touchdowns in a season three times.

Aaron Rodgers is also one of only five players in NFL history to have thrown for over 5,000 yards in a single season.
