Beyoncé's Mom, Tina Knowles Seeks Divorce from Richard Lawson

Tina Knowles-Lawson, mother of Beyoncé, files for divorce from actor Richard Lawson after 8 years of marriage.

The reason cited for the split is 'irreconcilable differences,' according to TMZ.

The couple got married on April 12, 2015, and has listed their date of separation as July 25, 2023.

Tina has requested in the court documents that neither party be awarded spousal support.

Speculations about their relationship arose as Tina rarely posted photos with Richard on social media recently.

Tina's first was with Mathew Knowles from 1980 to 2011, with whom she had Beyoncé and Solange Knowles.

Richard also had a previous marriage with actor Denise Gordy from 1978 to 1989 and has a daughter and a son from that marriage.
