Rapper Da Brat revealed that she is expecting her first kid with wife Jesseca "Judy" Harris-Dupart.

The rapper best known for her hit song "Funkdafied," revealed that she and Harris-Dupart married in February of last year.

In an interview with People Magazine the pair announced their joyous news and provided images of the rapper flaunting her growing baby bump.

The pair has been open about their plans to grow their family since making their announcement as well as their following pregnancy journey.

Da Brat had never considered having children but after meeting her wife mother of three her perspective was changed.

According to Da Brat, I began to see life so differently that I felt like sharing a piece of me with you. Something priceless that we can cherish, share, and nurture.

The journey of Da Brat and her wife was difficult. The rapper 48, had to undergo surgery to remove fibroids and polyps before her scheduled embryo transfer.

Da Brat tells People that the pair who married on February 22, 2022 had a miscarriage shortly after. Now the the rapper in her second trimester.

Rapper Da Brat is from the United States she started her career in 1992 and was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
