She underwent a successful surgery to remove a 3.9-cm. tumor, diagnosed as Stage 2 pancreatic cancer in January.

After three months of recovery, Menounos is opening up to PEOPLE magazine about her secret battle with pancreatic cancer.

Menounos is encouraging others to seek answers to their health problems and catch them early.

She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which runs in her family, in 2020.

She also had a brain tumor and underwent treatment for it in the year 2017.

Menounos underwent a whole-body MRI which revealed the 3.9 cm. mass on her pancreas.

She is in good shape and does not require chemotherapy or additional treatment, just annual scans for the next five years.
