Gwen Stefani's Debut Performance in CMT Music Awards

The former No Doubt frontman will switch genres for a night at the Country Music Television CMT Music Awards on April 2 in Austin, Texas.

Stefani is performing at the fan-voted award event, joining Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban, Tyler Hubbard, and many more country music stars.

Stefani will make her debut alongside country singer Carly Pearce, but she won't be the only first-time performer at the event.

Alanis Morissette is expected to perform at the CMT Awards to commemorate the franchise's 10th anniversary.

Shania Twain will perform on Sunday night and receive the CMT Equal Play Award, which celebrates artists who work for equal representation in country music.

Wynonna Judd and Ashley McBryde will perform duets, as will The Black Crowes and Darius Rucker, as well as Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown.

The award presentation announced on Tuesday that powerhouses Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, and Shania Twain will perform.
