Avril was seen hugging Tyga outside a restaurant Nobu and speculations rose that the singer is dating the rapper.

However Tyga and Avril are described as ‘genuinely friends’. There hasn't been any official notice from Avril’s side.

Avril and Mod Sun met in early 2021 for the first time and released a single ‘Flames’ in January 2021.

Their relationship seemed to have begun from the month after Flames. A year later they got engaged in 2022 April.
