Holly Willoughby Quits ITV's 'This Morning' After 14 Years

Holly Willoughby, a prominent TV presenter, has made the decision to quit ITV's long-running daytime show "This Morning."

She shared her departure news via an Instagram post, expressing her gratitude to the show's staff, guests, and viewers.

In her announcement, Willoughby mentioned her deep attachment to the show and the difficult nature of this farewell.

She extended her appreciation to ITV for their support and expressed heartfelt thanks to the viewers.

However, she revealed that she made the decision to leave "This Morning" for the sake of herself and her family.

Her co-host on "This Morning," Alison Hammond, responded on Instagram, describing it as a very sad day.

Dermot O'Leary, another presenter on the show, conveyed his love and respect for Willoughby and her family.

Vanessa Feltz, a well-known broadcaster, also expressed her sentiments, saying they will miss Willoughby dearly.

Willoughby's absence from the show began after a 36-year-old man was charged with an alleged plot to kidnap and murder her.

An ITV executive expressed sadness over Willoughby's departure but affirmed the broadcaster's respect for her decision.
