The Magic confirmed on Friday that the 25-year-old had undergone surgery to address adductor injuries, ultimately ending his season.

According to, an MRI scan on Wednesday surgery is the best option for the player's adductor muscle tear, estimated to be 3-4 months out.

After spending two years rehabilitating from an ACL injury, Isaac has only recently started playing again.

"An MRI conducted on Wednesday revealed the injury, after [Isaac] felt discomfort during Tuesday's practise in Milwaukee," the Magic said in a statement on Friday.

Isaac averaged 5 points, 4 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 4 rebounds per game before injury cut short his season.
