Mike Epps Apologized to his fans for Carrying a Gun

A gun was discovered in carry-on luggage at Indianapolis International Airport from the actor and comedian.

The Transportation Security Administration contacted airport police after discovering a Smith & Wesson.

Mike Epps' rucksack contained a 38-caliber pistol that would have been loaded with four bullets.

Police took the gun, but Epps, an Indianapolis native who was in town for a comedy concert at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, was not detained.

Epps explained to followers in a video on his Instagram page that he "had a hard night" in his hometown and had forgotten the gun.

Mike Epps apologized for a gun charge at an airport and gave an explanation of why he carries a pistol.
