Olivia Rodrigo's Catchy New Single: 'bad idea right?'

Olivia Rodrigo has released a new single titled "bad idea right?" from her upcoming album "Guts."

The single comes with a music video directed by Petra Collins, a frequent collaborator of Rodrigo.

The song originated as a joke about hooking up with an ex-boyfriend but turned into a serious creative endeavor.

Rodrigo mentioned that in one of the choruses, a background instrument-like sound is actually her gradually escalating scream.

The album "Guts," which includes the previously released single "vampire," will be released on September 8 via Geffen Records.

Pre-orders for the album are available, and the vinyl version will be sold exclusively in various colors on Rodrigo's merch store.
