Less than a year after releasing his Twelve Carat Toothache, Post Malone is back with a new song titled "Chemical."

The chorus of the song features the artist singing, "Outside of the party smoking in the car with you/Seven nation army fighting at the bar with you."

Ahead of the release of "Chemical," Malone posted a clip of the song on social media on Thursday.

He added, "A big cheers to all my big special gamers out there." "Chemical" is the artist's first piece of original music since that time.

Since the release of Twelve Carat Toothache in July 2022, Malone has only appeared as a guest on YG's "Sober" with Roddy Ricch.

Malone has been relatively quiet in the music industry, but he has been active in the film industry.

Malone will provide the voice of Ray Fillet in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, but it is unknown if he will also contribute to the soundtrack.

The Farrelly Brothers' holiday comedy Dear Santa, starring Jack Black, will also feature Malone, who will be credited as Austin Post.

Malone is currently touring Europe through May. He will then come back to the United States to perform at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, California.
