Roger Waters is threatening to sue German cities over canceled concerts.

Water's concert in Frankfurt has been canceled, and local lawmakers are attempting to do the same in other German cities.

According to NME, Waters reacted by calling the potential cancellation of his German tour dates a "unjustifiable" attack on his right to free speech.

"Mr. Waters has instructed his lawyers to immediately take all necessary steps to overturn this unjustifiable decision," a statement from Mark Fenwick Management.

"In a statement, the decision to postpone his concerts was described as "unconstitutional" and "without justification."

The statement further stated that the choices were "based upon the false accusation that Roger Waters is antisemitic, which he is not."

The German cities' actions against Waters could have serious consequences for artists and activists around the world.

According to the firm's partner Ralf Höcker, if the city councils ordered the venues or promoters to cancel the concerts, the firm would file injunctions against them."
