Former Big Bang member Seungri was released from Yeoju Prison two days earlier than expected.

Seungri was released on February 9 but he was supposed to be released on February 11th.

Seungri is accused of soliciting prostitution, embezzling, and violating the law regarding sexual assault.

Seungri was in court for trial on several counts related to his participation in the adult nightclub "Burning Sun."

Seungri was sentenced by the military court to three years in prison and a fine of about 1.1 billion KRW in August 2021.

Seungri was fired from YG Entertainment and it was revealed that he was no longer a member of the band BIGBANG.

Seungri's sentence was shortened to one year and six months after two successful appeals.

After his numerous trials Seungri was transferred to Yeoju Prison to serve out the remainder of his sentence.
