Soap Opera Star Andrea Evans Passes Away at 66

Soap star Andrea Evans known for her roles on "One Life to Live," "The Bold and the Beautiful," and other soap operas has passed away at the age of 66.

Andrea Evans' representative confirmed that she died from cancer on July 9.

Her soap opera career began in 1979 on "One Life to Live" and continued intermittently until 1990.

Evans also appeared on "The Young and the Restless" from 1983 to 1984, playing the characters Tawny Moore and Patti Weaver.

From 1999 to 2000 she had a starring role on "The Bold and the Beautiful."In recent years she had a role on the drama series "The Bay."

Evans was best known for her portrayal of Rebecca Hotchkiss on "Passions" from 2000 to 2008, appearing in 627 episodes.

Andrea Evans is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Kylie and her dog Mila.
