Regarding rumors of an affair with co-star Glen Powell, Sweeney said that they find it amusing and don't take it seriously.

The rumors began after their chemistry at CinemaCon while promoting their film "Anyone but You."

Powell's then-girlfriend, Gigi Paris, unfollowed both Powell and Sweeney on Instagram, adding to the speculation.
