When Nikki Reed became famous at a young age, she claims to have "no idea" what she was getting into.

"To be completely honest with you, I was only 13 years old and have no idea how I made it through. I believe I gave it my best effort despite my ignorance," she says.

She said, "I didn't know anything." Therefore, "I just learned how to kind of, you know, figure out that aspect of the business as time went on."

In 2015, Reed married actor Ian Somerhalder. After being spotted together at a farmers market in 2014, the two initially sparked romance rumors.

Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder, their daughter, was born in 2017. The "Vampire Diaries" actress and Reed are now expecting their second child together.

Reed is unsure whether either of her children will work in the entertainment industry despite being raised by actors.
