Boston Could See Mid-60s Temps by the End of This Week

Expected forecast for the week:

It is expected that the records will be marked high this week by as much as 60 degrees of temp. It is expected that Feb 16 and Feb. 17 will experience the record-high of 60 and 61 degrees respectively as per National Weather Service forecast for the Boston-area. But there is no forecast regarding snow event.

The temperature on Monday is expected to be 40 on a cloudy day which is coolest day of the entire work week.

Tuesday’s temp is then expected to be in upper 40s and the temp will gradually climb through the week and it should be mostly sunny. “And we’ll keep getting warmer from there,” Alan Dunham, meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Boston office, told the Herald on Sunday.

It is expected that from Wednesday it will be almost 15 or so degrees above normal as compared to other time during this time of the year with breezy conditions and it will be around mid-50s particularly on Wednesday.

Then on Thursday it will be warmest of the week and it is further expected that Boston’s high temp after Feb 16 and Feb 17 could be 65 degrees. ON Feb 16 it would be record-high of 60 degrees which was set in 1882 and 1910. The 65 degrees shall be the record-breaking.

On 17th Feb the record-high will be 61 degrees which is set in 1981 and tied last year. After which on Friday it has been forecasted to be 62 degrees which is new record for the city.

It is also expected that the city will experience showers on Thursday and the other round on Friday along with strong winds and deep moisture in the region. The showers are expected to be on Thursday and Friday.

On Saturday the forecast has been made to expect return of cold temps as high as 30s and 40s with gusty winds.
