Former President Donald Trump made a spirited appearance at Stevens High School in Claremont on Saturday, drawing supporters from across the Granite State and New England. Trump, currently dominating Republican primary polls, passionately addressed the crowd.
In his Saturday speech, Trump directed criticism at Gov. Chris Sununu, expressing doubt about Sununu’s electability, stating, “Right now, I don’t think he could be elected dog catcher. Here’s a guy… he may have a couple fans, but I doubt it.”
During the two-hour speech, Trump covered various topics, including his legal challenges in the New York business fraud case. He remarked on the judge’s pre-trial accusations, asserting, “Look, he’s a radical left person, and now, it’s sort of coming home to play. We’ll see what happens, but it’s a disgrace.”

Comparing the recent rally to his 2016 appearance at Stevens High School, where he filled the gym before winning the primary, Trump highlighted the similar size and enthusiasm of the crowd. The underlying message, too, seemed consistent.
The event echoed Trump’s previous visit to Claremont, maintaining the momentum and passion that characterized his earlier engagements.
