Idaho Falls Man Who Threatened to Shoot Two People is Arrested by Police

On 12th February 2023, around 2:00 a.m. the Idaho Falls Cops were called at Jason Parson’s place to file a complaint against the incident that took place there.

After the victim’s and Jason’s statements, Idaho Falls man who threatened to shoot two people is arrested by Police. Under Aggravated battery Parson Jason was punishable up to 15 years of imprisonment and under aggravated assault he was punishable up to 5 years of imprisonment. But after paying a sum of $50,000 as bail bond he was released from jail under the condition of no-contact order between Jason and the lady.

According to their statements to the Idaho Falls police, there were two victims, where in the lady was driving a Toyota Corolla along the Valley Drive and Cascade Drive junction when she accidentally hit a Ford F-150 at the back-side which was owned by Jason Parson.

Firstly, she got in touch with her friends who could lift her up from the place of incident and then out of guilt and anxiety, the lady decided to brief Mr. Parson about the accident and apologise to him for what had happened. As soon as her friends reached at the spot, they went to Mr. Parson’s place.

As soon as he came to know about the mishap, he fumed up in enrage and began to argue. Soon the argument turned into fight after he came to know the cops are being approached in order to report about the incident. While the argument was on, Jason pulled out his 9mm revolver and told the lady that, “If you don’t get the (****) out of my house, I will shoot you” and hit her on her face with the revolver.

Looking at their tussle the lady’s friend got hold of her and left her in another car. Understanding the situation, the friends went back to Jason to apologise and put an end to the matter, but he hit the lady’s friend back again on his face with the handgun. Jason threatened the man to kill him by locking his neck with his arms and hitting him several times.

The cops were shown the CCTV footage from a nearby door which had recorded the audio as well as Jason holding the revolver in his hand, but unfortunately it did not have any evidence which recorded their combat. On arresting Jason, he did admit to hit the lady and his friend with the gun on their faces and threaten them to shoot.
