Mitch McConnell Senate Minority Leader hospitalized after a fall at Washington D.C., hotel. The news received late Wednesday night from his team.
“This evening, Leader McConnell tripped at a local hotel during a private dinner. He has been admitted to the hospital where he is receiving treatment,” McConnell’s spokesperson Doug Andres said.
No further information has been provided about the injuries and other details of Mr. McConnell and there are no details released about the tenure of hospitalization from the authorities.
McConnell who is the leader of Republicans and has overcome polio at a very young age fell in August 2019 and suffered a fracture to his shoulder.
He is 81 and has served as leader to the party since a long time now I. E. Year 2007 and has served as Republican leader in the history of Senate.

Mitch McConnell is a prominent American politician who has been serving as a United States Senator from Kentucky since 1985. He is also the Senate Minority Leader since January 2021, a position he has held multiple times before, including during the Obama administration.
Born on February 20, 1942, in Sheffield, Alabama, McConnell grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended the University of Louisville, where he earned his undergraduate degree in political science, and later attended the University of Kentucky College of Law.
In 1984, McConnell was elected to the U.S. Senate, defeating incumbent Democratic Senator Walter Huddleston. Since then, he has been re-elected to the Senate five times, most recently in 2020.
He became the Senate Majority Leader in 2015, a position he held until 2021, when the Democrats gained control of the Senate.
McConnell is married to Elaine Chao, who served as the Secretary of Transportation in the Trump administration and previously as the Secretary of Labor in the George W. Bush administration. Together, they do not have any children.
