In a surprising turn of events on Tuesday night, former President Donald Trump expressed his discontent with Nikki Haley and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu after securing a primary win in Nashua.
Contrary to his recent calls for party unity in Iowa, Trump sharply criticized Haley for continuing her campaign despite losing to him in New Hampshire. He accused her of giving speeches as if she had won, emphasizing her third-place position in Iowa behind himself and Ron DeSantis.
With 34% of votes tallied, Trump led with 53.4%, while Haley secured 45.5%.
Trump’s dissatisfaction extended to Governor Sununu, labeling him as “very unpopular” and questioning his decisions regarding the open primary that allows independents to participate.
Haley’s campaign responded to Trump’s comments, denouncing his “angry rant” and highlighting that he received just half of the vote in the two states that have voted so far.
Trump, flanked by former rivals Vivek Ramaswamy and Senator Tim Scott, criticized President Biden, claiming victory in many polls and asserting that Biden struggles to articulate coherent sentences.

Despite Trump’s victory being called by the Associated Press shortly after 8 p.m., Haley addressed her supporters, congratulating Trump and emphasizing her rising poll numbers.
In her optimistic speech, Haley acknowledged Trump’s past leadership but emphasized the desire for a new conservative generation. She predicted a victory against Biden, citing Trump’s chaotic leadership and asserting her ability to bring stability.
